JUNOfest Submissions Overview

JUNOfest, Presented by CBCMusic.ca, is a two-night music celebration that is part of the 2018 JUNO Awards weekend. It showcases the diverse spectrum of artists in Canada. JUNOfest will feature over 100 bands at more than 15 venues.

JUNOfest 2018 will be held in Vancouver, BC on March 23 & 24, 2018. Performances run from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. All genres of music are accepted.

Close to half of the participating line-up will be chosen locally to highlight British Columbia’s rich and diverse music scene, in addition to performances from 2018 JUNO Award nominees and some of Canada’s national touring acts. JUNOfest is for Canadian artists only.

2018 marks the 17th year anniversary of JUNOfest since its inception in St. John’s in 2002. As a means to promote and celebrate Canadian music, JUNOfest has showcased more than 1,000 artists and bands of all backgrounds and genres including: African Guitar Summit, Alexisonfire, Anvil, Arkells, Bedouin Soundclash, Billy Talent, Cancer Bats, Classified, Danny Fernandes, Deep Dark Woods, Down With Webster, Divine Brown, D-Sisive, Doc Walker, Down with Webster, Elliott Brood, Elizabeth Shepherd, Feist, Fucked Up, The Gryphon Trio, Handsome Furs, Hannah Georgas, Hey Rosetta!, Hollerado, Jane Bunnett, Jim Cuddy, Jully Black, Julie Doiron, Kardinal Offishall, Karl Wolf, Kellylee Evans, KEN mode, Little Miss Higgins, Marianas Trench, Matt Mays, Metric, MSTRKRFT, NQ Arbuckle, The Sadies, Said the Whale, Saint Alvia, Sam Roberts, Shad, The Sheepdogs, Shout Out Out Out Out, Silverstein, Sloan, Tanya Tagaq, Ten Second Epic, Thornley, Two Hours Traffic, The Wailin’ Jennys, Wintersleep, Yukon Blonde and hundreds more.

Please note: JUNOfest is booked over a short period of time in February and March.  Priority is given to JUNO Award nominees and artists/bands from British Columbia so please keep this in mind when applying.  All bands will be notified by March 1, 2018.
